    Too much HDR!

Ahhh, but I love HDR! I have to manually do it on my camera too! I take 7 different shots on my camera and put them together; it won’t do it for me! I am using a point and shoot that has full manual mode, but no option for HDR, unless I take the individual shots myself. I got you though. I’ll put some non HDR photos on here soon enough =) Thanks for the message. -M

wow you love MIlan! I'm from there :) what place do you visit in Milan? Are you planning to come back? If you like painting I recommend you to visit Ravenna (3 hours from MIlan) and Firenze of course :)

Gosh, I don’t remember the names of everything, but I went all over =) And yes, I am planning on going back! I have a friend that lives there and will show me around this time, so it should be great. I love to feel the authenticity of a city and what better way to do that than with a local!? And thanks for the recommendation I will have to check it out when I am over there next.-M

what is your favourite city that you visited until today?

Oh gosh, that’s a hard question! Obviously London is my favorite, but outside of that, two places come to mind. First I would say Milan. I think Italy itself is one of the most diverse (landscape wise) and beautiful places I have ever seen and I have only been to the top half! When I was in Milan it was for New Years and they had the friendliest people there. They were handing out drinks, some food, and people were dancing on the tables and on top of the bar. One of the coolest things was seeing the painting of ‘The Last Supper’ in the Santa Maria delle Grazie. The building itself is beautiful, but what you don’t realize is the painting takes up an entire wall. It is truly astonishing. My other favorite city would have to be Paris just because of its overall detailed/beautiful statues and buildings. Everything in that city is absolutely gorgeous. You can go there with a camera and have no idea what you are doing and come back with 100s of beautiful photos. Thanks for the question, that was fun to think about! -M

Would you recommend someone from the states to live in London?

I recommend one doing whatever their heart desires. We only live once and we don’t want to live with regret. It would be sad to say “I never did this, or I never did that.” People like to put artificial boundaries on their lives and make excuses why we can’t do something. Instead of making excuses, which we are all good at, make reasons and goals for accomplishing what you need to do in life. So, if London is your place that you would love to live, then live there. And hey, if you hate it? You can always move back =)

hey so i have some questions to do if you don't mind haha i would like to go to London is one of my dreams and can you tell me what it's like London? th food, the weather, people...i would be really thankful if you respond me :) thank you! have a great day/night

Thanks for the question! First, the food (expensive haha) London and all of England gets a bad wrap for having bland food, but on the contrary. There are some great places to eat and on Sunday a lot of pubs have a Sunday roast that is absolutely amazing. There are some cheaper options too (wagamama, which is noodles and Nandos which is chicken) The weather is beautiful, but depending on the time of year it can change drastically. Don’t let London fool you it does get hot! But there is a chance for rain almost every day. The streets are definitely walkable during the winter and you shouldn’t be too cold. There is something about walking along The River Thames at night wearing a pea coat, bundled up in a scarf and just watching the city as it breaths. Seeing the skyline all lit up gives me chills from it’s beauty. The people are great, just don’t get in the way of the commuters on the underground with your luggage haha! Oh and kind of related to food: When it is time for a drink, you can go to almost any pub and have the best of times. Each pub having it’s own story to tell. The old architecture and history make me feel like I have traveled back in time, taking me away from todays modern technologically ran world. It is truly a special place and I almost assure you that you will love it. Just spend your money wisely while you are there. -M

  7. Since Ireland was the winner of the “which location should I post next” post. I decided to do one better a put a video up! This is the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. I had the shittiest point and shoot camera and no tripod at the time and it still gives you a sense of calming. The sound is just a bunch of wind going into the mic and I didn’t know how to take it off, so to save your ears and TURN THE SOUND OFF. Enjoy! -MB

What location do you want a photo from tomorrow? Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Paris, UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Ireland, Boston or Philadelphia?

UPDATE: So, I unexpectedly left my house last night and did not have my computer which contains all my photos, so I was unable to post the correct photo for today. Anyway, the results are in! Ireland won by a landslide, the UK was second and all the others were not so close. So later today I will post a photo of Ireland! And throughout the week I will post some of the others especially the special request ones of people missing a certain spot, or just wanting to see home. Thanks for voting everyone! -M

what places have you been? I love your pictures :)

Thanks for the question and compliment! I have been all over the United States, parts of the UK, France, Ireland and Italy. I have been to Prague. I have been to Canada as well, but I didn’t have a camera at the time. I think that about covers it. However, I planning a month to two month vacation once I graduate. We shall see where I end up going. Thanks again for the question. - MB
